Men from all over the US and Canada are invited to participate in internet-based fishing tournament brought to you by the Men’s NetWork from Lutheran Hour Ministries. In place of its regular monthly meeting, the LWML will have a Brunch in the Park on Saturday, June 13th, at 10:00 am, in Central Park in Carthage. Louise O., Sandy D., and Dallie H. are the hostesses. All ladies of the congregation are invited.
The Wednesday evening Women’s Class has decided to continue to meet through the summer months. You can join them at 6:30 pm on Wednesdays in the Fellowship Hall. Give Gloria E.. a call if you would like more information.
It’s time to start gearing up for VBS!! The dates have been set for July 6th-10th, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. A
light dinner will be served from 5:30-6:00 pm, with classes starting immediately afterwards. There are sign up sheets in
the narthex for those wanting to attend and for those who are willing to help.
The theme for this year is Crocodile Dock, Where Fearless Kids Shine God’s Light. We think the kids will really enjoy the activities planned for this theme.
