PASTOR’S CLASS Pastor is having an Information Class this afternoon from 1:00 to 6:00 in the Conference Room. The class is for everyone, but it is especially designed for those wanting to know more about the Lutheran Church or who are interested in joining the congregation. Please let Pastor know if you are interested. Refreshments will be served.
LWML BAKE SALE The LWML is holding a bake sale today after both services. All proceeds will go toward the purchase of narthex furniture.
THIRTY-ONE PARTY You are invited to a Thirty-one party in the Fellowship Hall after church until 2:00. Thirty-one is a company based on Psalm 31 (Celebrate, Encourage and Reward) and includes fun organizing bags, totes, purses and accessories that can be personalized. The party is hosted by Gerry S. and presented by Bethany M. Ten percent of the sales will be donated to the narthex furniture fund.
MEN’S CAMPING RETREAT If you are looking for a fun weekend of camping and fishing, then please join us for a men’s camping trip the weekend of Oct. 14-16. We’ll be going to Dale & LeeAnn B. property located just south of Lockwood. There is a large stocked pond for a day of fishing from the bank. Campers are welcome, but there is no electric hookups. Contact Dale, or Paul R., with any questions. There is a sign up sheet in the narthex. Hope to see you there.
CROSSLINES CANNED GOODS Please remember to bring non-perishable items to donate to Crosslines. You can place your donation in the round container in the narthex, or in the shopping basket in the entry way to the fellowship hall. Any donation is greatly needed and very appreciated.
BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the narthex after each service. You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings.
PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace. We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.
ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers. They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.
TAPES OF THE SERVICE Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday. They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex. Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.
