MIDWEEK LENTEN SERVICES We are having midweek Lenten services on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 during the Lenten season.  Portions of the Passion story of Jesus will be read during each service.  Please join us this Lenten season.

EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN UP There is a sign up sheet in the narthex for everyone to sign up to bring food or products for the annual breakfast Easter morning.  We served over 250 folks last year.  What can you bring?

CARTHAGE RELAY FOR LIFE PAJAMA PARTY All ladies (10-110) are invited to a Pajama Party to benefit Carthage Relay for Life.  You’re welcome to wear your PJ’s and join in the fun, Friday, April 1, from 7:00-10:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall here at Good Shepherd.    Activities include contests, prizes, food, and a live auction.  Tickets are $10.00 each (suggested minimum donation).

JOHN RUTTER’S REQUIEM will be presented by the Missouri Southern State University Music Department at the First United Methodist Church, Joplin, MO, on Friday, April 8, at 7:30 pm.  Members Michael G. and Mary S. are part of the Concert Chorale.

PORTALS OF PRAYER The April-June Portals of Prayer are available to you on the table in the narthex.LET’S PLAY BALL  It will soon be time for spring softball.  If you are interested in playing on either the men’s or the co-ed church team (guys you’re welcome to play on both), please write your name and phone number on the sign up sheet in the narthex.  Questions?  Talk with Bradley M.

PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace.  We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.

TAPES OF THE SERVICE Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday.  They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.  Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.  They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the narthex after each service.  You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which will include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings
