NO CLASSES THIS WEEK  Due to Spring Break, there will be no classes this week.  The Wednesday evening schedule for Lent will resume on March 30.

JR CONFIRMATION RETREAT  There are six youth and two adult counselors attending the Jr Confirmation Retreat at Camp Windermere beginning Friday of this week.  Please pray for both the youth and their adult counselors as they travel, spend time together, and grow in their relationship with each other and with their Savior.  They will return Sunday afternoon, March 27.

MIDWEEK LENTEN SERVICES  We are having midweek Lenten services on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 during the Lenten season.  Portions of the Passion story of Jesus will be read during each service.  Please join us this Lenten season.

ATTENTION STUDENTS   If you are planning a career in church work, the MO-District Lutheran Women’s Missionary League has study grants available for the 2011-2012 school year.  Men & women enrolled in a university or seminary of the LCMS that are preparing for full time professional church work may apply.  Applications are available from the LWML. 

EASTER BREAKFAST SIGN UP  There is a sign up sheet in the narthex for everyone to sign up to bring food or products for the annual breakfast Easter morning.  We served over 250 folks last year.  What can you bring?   

PORTALS OF PRAYER  The April-June Portals of Prayer are available to you on the table in the narthex.

LET’S PLAY BALL  It will soon be time for spring softball.  If you are interested in playing on either the men’s or the co-ed church team (guys you’re welcome to play on both), please write your name and phone number on the sign up sheet in the narthex.  Questions?  Talk with Bradley M.

PRAYER BEARS are in the sanctuary pews and available to be signed out (notebook in narthex) and given to anyone that needs God’s love, comfort, and peace.  We have had reports and words of thanks from folks being blessed by this outreach ministry.

TAPES OF THE SERVICE  Audio tapes of the service are available after the 8:15 am service each Sunday.  They are located in the glassed-door cabinet in the narthex.  Tapes of the previous Sunday are also available.      

ASSISTIVE LISTENING  If you are having a hard time hearing the service, assistive listening devices are available from the ushers.  They work like a transistor radio and you can control the volume.

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS are available in the narthex after each service.  You will be given a small form that can be carried in your wallet which wi ll include medical information and a log of your blood pressure readings
