This year’s VBS theme is, Expedition Everest, Conquering Challenges with God’s Mighty Power.   The kids will embark on an icy expedition where they will overcome obstacles with God’s awesome power.   It will anchor kids in rock-solid Bible truths that will guide them through life’s challenges.

VBS will start Sunday, July 26, and go through  Thursday, July 30, 6:00-8:00 pm, every evening.  There will be a light dinner offered each evening at 5:30 pm.

Make sure to get signed up, if you haven’t already, so your VBS t-shirt can be ordered!

This year’s Missouri District Jr. High Youth Retreat will be held at Camp Windermere, March 20 – 22.  This retreat is a great opportunity for our confirmation class to grow in their relationships with one another and with their Savior.  The confirmation students should have brought home some information about this retreat.  Please let Pastor know whether or not your student will be able to attend.

Mark your calendar!  On Sunday, July 13, during Bible Class time, Pastor will be giving a presentation on the trip to Germany.  He has compiled the many pictures that were taken during their time touring and put together a slideshow.

Because it is likely that this will last a little longer than the normal Bible class hour and it will be getting over around lunch time, it has been decided that a potluck meal is in order.  Please bring a dish to share and we will enjoy a light meal afterward.  Drinks will be provided.
