The dates for this year’s Vacation Bible School, “Splash Canyon”, have been set for July 22-26, with a kick-off party on Saturday, July 21. Mark your calendars for this fun week of learning about our faith together! Planning Meeting: There will be a VBS planning meeting after the late service on Sunday, April 8. We would love to have anyone and everyone interested in being involved in VBS this year at our planning meeting. It would be great to have a large group involved in the planning process.

After several Sundays of Christmas Program practice and other fun activities, the Sunday School classes are back to their regular lessons. The lessons the rest of the winter quarter will focus on seeing God’s love at work. The Sunday School Children will be singing in church on Sunday, March 4, at the beginning of the late service to share with the congregation some of the songs they have been working on during opening. Offerings for the months of January and February from Sunday School and Adult Bible class will be sent to LCMS World Relief to help those affected by the hurricane in Houston. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Sunday School as we study God’s word together. God’s Promise Came True

The Christmas story is always beautiful, but when told through the voices and faces of our children, it becomes even more special. Be sure to attend this year’s program entitled,  God’s Promise Came True, presented on Sunday evening, December 17, at 7:00 pm.  Come follow the children through a nativity video tour explaining the story of the birth of Jesus and see how God fulfilled his promise of a Savior!  There will be refreshments following the program.
