Thanks to everyone who donated items for the Easter eggs. It is wonderful to have such a generous church family.

2024 VBS, “Celebrate the Savior”, has been scheduled for July 21 – 25.

Offerings for the second quarter from Sunday School and Adult Bible class will be given to Lutheran Family and Children Services of Missouri (LFCS).

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Sunday School as we study God’s word together. If you would be interested in teaching a Sunday School class or would like to be on our substitute list, please contact Becky C.

Good Shepherd’s Thursday morning Bible Study finished up the book of Ester at the end of the year. The first Thursday of 2024 we are planning to
celebrate Epiphany. We will take a look at the season through the scriptures and plan to enjoy a king cake.

The last quarter Sunday School and Adult Bible Class offerings will be going to the Lockwood Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry.

This year’s Christmas program will be held the evening of Sunday, December 17.  We will start practicing songs during Sunday School soon.  Parts will need to be assigned, so we would love to know which children would like to be involved.  If you would like your children to participate please let us know as soon as possible.  You can do this by letting your child’s Sunday School teacher know, by contacting Donna M. or  you can contact the church office by phone at 358-1325 or email at goodshepherd@ecarthage.com.
