† IN OUR PRAYERS  Bob S., dealing with some issues with his heart; Clara H., in Good Shepherd Nursing Home on Hospice; Diana E., recovering from surgery; Jim B., undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer; Stephen  Ministry and their care receivers.

† THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN will sing in the service today.  They enjoy sharing with the congregation what they have been working on during the opening time of Sunday School.

† QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING  The regular quarterly Voters’ Meeting will be held Sunday, November 3 right after the service.  Two items on the agenda during this meeting will be the election of officers and the approval of the  budget for the 2025 church year.  The proposed slate of officers for 2025:

† TRUNK & TREAT/HOBO DINNER  The Fellowship Committee will be hosting a Trunk & Treat in conjunction with the Hobo Dinner on October 31, starting at 6:00 pm.  Please bring some soup to contribute.  There are sign-up sheets in the narthex if you would like to help with supplies for dinner or decorate a trunk for Trunk & Treat.  If you have questions please contact D.

† THE LWML FALL RALLY will be hosted by our LWML and held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 2.  Please come and join us.

† CROSSLINES COLLECTION  Time to start thinking of Christmas!!  For the month of October we are collecting toys, art supplies, blankets/throws, mittens/hats, etc. for Crosslines for Christmas gifts for children of their clients.  If you can   donate any of these items for children age birth to 15 it would make the spirit of Christmas come alive for families in need.  These do not need to be wrapped as they will be wrapped at Crosslines for each family.  If you have any Christmas wrap to donate, that would also be very much appreciated.

† TREASURER NOTE  For the nine months ended this September, our paid expenses totaled $179,052 while our income totaled $178,715, leaving us a deficit of $337.

† 5TH SUNDAY POTLUCK AND BINGO  The Fellowship Committee is encouraging everyone to join us today for a 5th Sunday Potluck followed by BINGO!  This will be held downstairs following Sunday School and Adult Bible Class.

† THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the school donations for Immanuel Lutheran School in Lockwood.  They are greatly appreciated!

† MEALS ON WHEELS  Thanks to everyone who helped deliver meals last week.  What a great way to help our community.
