† SISTERS IN CHRIST  Please join our ladies gathering on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.  This is a time for sharing, caring, studying and praying – together, with each other and God.  We want you to be included in this beautiful sisterhood.

† ROCK –  ROLLING OUT CHRIST’S KINGDOM continues every Wednesday night through July 23 starting at 6:00 pm for dinner, small group bible study, and fun.  The activities conclude at 7:00 pm.  There will be a 2 week break and then ROCK will resume on August 13.  Come and join the fun!

† VBS – EPIC AUSTRALIAN ADVENTURE is scheduled for Sunday, July 27 through  Thursday, July 31, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  There will be a dinner served each evening at 5:00 pm.  Also, please plan to join us for our VBS Kick-off celebration on Sunday, July 27 during the Sunday School hour.  Students can still register by completing the printed form in the Narthex.  Or you may register at https://vbsmate.com/events/gslcarthage/30913.  If you are  interested in helping with VBS, please complete the form available in the narthex.   If you have any questions you can contact Kayla  H.

† VBS DONATIONS  Last year, during VBS, we were able to feed more than 50 students and volunteers each evening.  We would like to continue the dinner and fellowship this year!  If you would like to contribute to this project, please check the table in the narthex for a list of supplies needed as well as small envelopes for cash donations.  We appreciate your help!

† SCHOOL SUPPLY DONATION  For the next few Sundays, Good Shepherd will be collecting school supplies for Immanuel Lutheran School in Lockwood to support them as the school year begins.  There is a list of items that would be most  helpful on the round table in the narthex.  Thanks for your help!

† TREASURER NOTE  For the six months ended June 30, our paid expenses totaled $118,791 while our income totaled $116,804, leaving us with a deficit of $1,987.  Our budgeted income and expense year to date is $121,871.

† BAPTISM  We rejoice with Jarrett and Lacy E. at the baptism of their son, Layden Lee E. in the service this morning.  We ask God to bless this family always with His love and grace.

† 5TH SUNDAY POTLUCK  The fellowship committee and the R.O.C.K committee are hosting 5th Sunday with a potluck cookout (hamburgers and hotdogs provided) and family game day today after Sunday School.  Come join us!!!
